Weekend in Miami

Hey guys! I am finally getting my Miami blog post up! I went with my friends Jaci and Christine for a little weekend getaway. We only had 2 full days in Miami and that was not enough! I definitely want to go back. Miami is so cool and has such a fun retro feel. I wish we had been able to stay longer! I vlogged our trip so I will link that here. Some of our favorite places were OTL cafe, Wynwood Walls, and the Bodega taco place!! We honestly had really bad food experiences while we were here so that was interesting haha!! I used to be so so picky about food when traveling and I still am because I try to eat a plant based diet as often as I can so I am always looking for yummy vegan restaurants but we didn’t find a lot of good vegan food here! A ton of you guys recommended we try DIRT and Oh Mexico but we didn’t love either of those places. Overall Miami was still a great experience!

Also, I finally got my blog newsletter set up! I had a section on the sidebar of my blog where you could sign up to receive an email every time I publish a blog post and I accidentally deleted that list of email subscribers so now I am back to square one 😓. Dumbest mistake ever I don’t even know how that happened. Anyways, sign up on my homepage if you want to receive emails when I post! I usually am only posting on the blog once a week or even less because YouTube keeps me so busy. Leave me a comment and let me know what you want to see more blog posts about! I definitely want to be doing frequent blog posts about the progress of our house once that gets started!

xx

Looks like you had a fun time there, besides the food haha. All the places you visited looked so cute and I love all the photos you took there! I haven’t been to Miami in a few years and this is making me want to go back!

Loved the video Aspyn! Looks like you had a great trip even with the few hiccups. I need to learn all of Jaci’s photo tips because dang that girl is talented!

    Hey Aspyn!
First I wanna say that I love your vlog channel! I so look up to you and Parker’s relationship, and also how hard y’all work for the life y’all have!! I love your style of videography and travel diaries. My boyfriend and I actually like to create those when we travel now too, just as keepsakes of our trip! I will definitely be investing in yalls workshop soon once I am out of school and have the time to really use it!

In your last video you asked what kind of video ideas you should make. I know that you’ll get sooooo many ideas in your YouTube comments, so I didnt wanna get lost in all of those.

This is an idea that I had for me and my boyfriend to film, but since we’re in college and have jobs we don’t have as much time to devote to it as I’d like, so I thought I’d pass the idea on to you if you like!!

So: you could create a bucket list series. You could make a blog post that listed out things you and Parker want to do, then make videos for each item. You could always add more to the list. This would be a good way to generate traffic to your blog since people will want to see the whole list!

You could put places to travel, foods to try, things outside of your comfort zone, volunteer experiences, goals, some things be simple, some more complicated etc. then create a vlog about it and use some of the style you use in your travel diaries too.

I think this would be a really cool series of videos that would kind of give you a bunch of ideas to work with! Not to mention, something you could do with Parker. You could even put some of them on Parker’s channel if the bucket list item was more what he wanted to do, then that would add some traffic to his channel! Or both film your perspectives.

This would be super fun to do and for viewers to watch! I think that the TBT is a good idea too, but I think lifestyle and travel has become more your style and creating videos that are more stylistic and this would give you that opportunity!!

I literally never respond to YouTubers or celebrities lol But this is an idea that I would personally love to do, but just don’t have the following or the time even. So I hope this helps!!!
